How to import shops, products and old dues from Excel
You do not have to type your shops and products one by one. Import them from the files you already have.
Steps
Step 1: In the menu, click Import Data.
Step 2: Import in this order: shops, products, suppliers, purchase bills, old bills, and old dues.
Step 3: Click the kind of data, for example Shops and customers.
Step 4: No file yet? Click Download a blank template, fill it in Excel and come back.
Step 5: Click Choose file and pick your Excel or CSV file. Mulberry tells you how many rows it found.
Step 6: Check the column matching: shop name to shop name, phone to phone. If a column is wrong, click it and pick the right one.
Step 7: Click Check this file. Nothing is saved yet: it shows how many records are new, how many will be updated, and any mistakes.
Step 8: If it looks right, click Import.
Step 9: Do the same for products, suppliers, bills and old dues, or use Import everything at once to drop all files together.
Good to know
- Files exported from Tally, Busy, Marg, Vyapar and Zoho work.
- You can download your shops, products and suppliers as one Excel file, correct it, and import it back. Nothing is duplicated.
