How to set your company name, logo and GST details on bills
Your company name, logo and GSTIN are printed on every bill, so set them before the first one.
Steps
Step 1: In the menu, click Settings. It is the last item.
Step 2: On the General tab, type your company name and add your logo.
Step 3: Check the timezone, currency and date format. For India keep Asia/Kolkata and INR.
Step 4: Under GST configuration, type your GSTIN, choose your state and type your registered address.
Step 5: Scroll down and click Save Settings.
Step 6: Under Feature controls, switch on what you use: Invoice button (save and open the invoice in one tap), Track stock (no billing beyond stock you have), Auto-hold (stop billing a shop over its credit limit until it pays) and Cash and bank tracking. Changes work straight away.
Step 7: On the Vehicles tab, turn on live location tracking to see vans on the map.
Step 8: On the Security tab, change your own password. You can also set a separate password for closing the day.
Step 9: On the Backup and restore tab, click Download data backup. Do it once a week and keep the file safe.
Good to know
- Keep Track stock on unless you do not count your stock: it is what stops a van billing goods it does not have.
