How a salesman collects pending money from a shop on the phone
When a shop pays an old bill, the salesman records it on the phone so the office sees it at once.
Steps
Step 1: Tap the Bills tab. Pending collections lists the bills still to be paid.
Step 2: Search by shop name or bill number to find the bill.
Step 3: Tap Collect on the bill.
Step 4: Type the amount received. A part payment is fine: the balance stays on the bill.
Step 5: Choose the payment method, such as Cash or UPI, and save.
Step 6: Share the updated bill as a PDF or on WhatsApp if the shop wants a copy.
Good to know
- When every bill is paid, the list says All caught up! No pending collections.
- Saved bills on the same tab shows every bill you made, with what was paid and what is still due.
